What is The Cloud?
The Cloud enables you to use computing resources like Compute, Network, Storage, Databases, and numerous other IT services remotely through a cloud provider. With the cloud, you don't have to manage your own data center, providing the mentioned services. When using the IT resources from the cloud providers you pay for the services per sec/minute/hour. Companies love the cloud because it is cheap, scalable, and very convenient since you can stop using the services when you don't need them.
Currently, numerous companies that have been hosting their resources on-premises or through co-location facilities are migrating their IT resources to the cloud. As a result of this, there is a huge demand for people with cloud skills, and this demand is projected to continue to rise into the future.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the biggest public cloud providers in the world. The AWS Cloud provides a broad set of infrastructure services, such as computing power, storage options, networking, and databases, delivered as a utility: on-demand, available in seconds, with pay-as-you-go pricing.
AWS is a platform for virtually every Use Case. From data warehousing to deployment tools, directories to content delivery, over 50 services are available in just a few mouse clicks with AWS. New services are quick to provision, without upfront capital expense, allowing enterprises, start-ups, SMBs, and customers in the public sector to access the building blocks they need to respond quickly to changing business requirements.
